Slaves of Socorro
I just started reading this book last week and I am already enticed in its great detail and suspense. This book is the 4th installment of the Brotherband Chronicles. The series is closely and directly related to the great series The Rangers Apprentice. In The slaves of Socorro by Australian Author John Flanagan Hal and his crew aboard the Heron must go to a distant slave trading land and must stop one of their old foes. They are all skandians but they will need the help of the Araluens. They must all work together in order to stop Tursgud.
Another book based upon foreign conflict and war? My kind of book. As well as a rescue mission which is for a good cause? All perfect aspects of a good worded novel. I'll look into the series.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like an interesting book. Would you define it as fantasy? Why do they need to stop the Tursgud? It does appear to be the type of book that I would enjoy and it seems like it has an interesting plot.
